SEND information about our school.

Mrs Dixon – SEND Co-ordinator

Welcome to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) section of our website.

At St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School, we pride ourselves in ensuring that all children have full and inclusive access to the best opportunities and educational provision possible.

Within our SEND policies, you will find everything you need to know about SEND in our school, including what we do for children with SEND and who will support you and your family throughout your child’s time with us.

The Acting SEND Governor for the school is Tom Relph, he can be contacted via the school office on 0191 4878641 or info@sto.bwcet.com

The Government has asked all Local Authorities in the UK to publish, in one place, information about the services and provision they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from 0 to 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND).

This is known as the Local Offer. Further information about the Gateshead Local Offer can be found on the Gateshead Council Local Offer home page which is on the www.gateshead.gov.uk website. Click on the link for education and learning and then for special educational needs.

Our SEND Co-Ordinator is Mrs L Dixon. For more information on our SEND procedures, please visit our policies section or contact the school office on 0191 4878641.
